Welcome to Raising Money for Charity
There are many ways to help charities with their fund raising.
They don't have to be hard work and they are nearly always satisfying and enjoyable.
Many charities and charitiable causes really do need your help. Whether you are able to help as a volunteer or simply help to raise funds for a charitable cause, your help is very important.
A few years ago I started thinking about the number of disabled people in their wheel chairs that I regularly saw in the high street with their helpers.
What struck me was the thought 'where do these disabled people go at night?'.
What I then found out was that many of these people were being looked after by charities and volunteer helpers.
This led me to wanting to help in some way. A chance encounter in a coffee shop led to the setting up of Explosion Entertainments CIC which has the purpose of helping charitable causes with their fundraising events.
Raising money for charity has a similar purpose.
Raising Money for Charity would like to encourage you to find ways to help local and national charities. It is good fun and introduces children to the idea of helping those who are less well off than they are.
