Golf match
Golf is an excellent game with which you raise money for charitable causes. There are various ways you can organise an enjoyable tournament for those taking part.
Sponsorship is ideal for golf. The obvious way is to accept advertising at each of the 18 holes of the golf course. You may choose to have several advertisers at each of the holes, with higher paying advertisers at the first and the lost holes. Don't have sponsors with advertising competitive products at the same hole!
You can of course accept sponsorship from one single advertiser if they are prepared to pay for exclusativity!
You may choose to charge individuals a fee to take part in the charity tournament. It helps to have a prize for the winner, preferably a trophy with the winner's name engraved on it.
Prizes can also include golf equipment, including clubs, clothing and other golfing material. Try to ask for the prizes to be given by golf shops and manufactures (in return for sponsorhip pf course!).
A larger charitable event could well have established golfers attending. You may need to pay them a fee; and the better known the professional is then the higher the fee is! But the more people you should be able to attract.
Younger people like golf. Have some way for these children and teenagers to participate in the golf. Beginners could be shown how to play and those with experience can be taught how to improve their game.
Golf can attract business people and high earners. They will pay to play golf in the top golf courses with top-class golfers playing rounds with them.
