Raising money with an organised quiz
Hold a quiz in a school, office, church hall, pub etc. A quiz is easy to organise. You can have people in teams (makes the whole event more competitive!) or it can have everyone competing against each other.
You can hold a general knowledge quiz or the event can have a theme.
The whole event can be very flexible. A quizmaster/compere can ask the questions, or you can give a page of questions to each person to complete (This works a lot better if you have teams competing against each other).
Don't make the questions too easy or too hard for the given audience, people must be able to answer most of the questions or they won't enjoy the event!
Make sure that people know about the charity, circulate details of the charity and you could even invite people to donate seperately or to donate on a regular basis. You could even invite people from the charity to attend during the day.
The main point is to have a fun day
