Welcome to Raising Money for Charity
There are many ways to help charities with their fund raising. They don't have to involve hard work and they are nearly always satisfying and enjoyable.
Many charities and charitiable causes really do need your help. This will become more important in the UK over the next few years as the government cuts back on expenditure!
Whether you are able to help as a volunteer or simply help to raise funds for a charitable cause, your participation makes a real difference.
A few years ago I started thinking about the number of disabled people in their wheel chairs that I regularly saw in the local high street with their helpers. What struck me was the thought 'where do these disabled people go at night?'.
Raising money for charity has an objective of encouraging people to find ways to help their local charities as well as the national charities.
Apart from being good fun, this is an ideal way to introduce children to the idea of helping those who are less well off than they are.
